Concrete vs. Fiberglass Pools

Promier Landscapes offers in-ground concrete and fiberglass pools. Each type of pool has its own unique characteristics and benefits.

Concrete Pools

Concrete pools offer exceptional durability and versatility, allowing for a wide range of designs and shapes to fit any backyard aesthetic. Their solid construction means they can withstand harsh weather conditions and last for decades with proper maintenance. Additionally, concrete pools can be customized with various finishes, tiles, and features, making them a stylish centerpiece for outdoor living spaces while providing a long-term investment for family enjoyment and relaxation.

Our concrete pools are available in two options:

Traditional concrete (“shotcrete”): We use a wooden framework to shape the pool structure. Then, premixed concrete is sprayed over the framework to achieve the finished product.
Gunite: We use rebar as a substructure, making the pool exceptionally durable. When constructing a gunite pool, water is not mixed with the concrete until it is dispersed from the sprayer.

Our concrete pool options are liner-free and easy to maintain. They are constructed onsite, which allows for unique customization of the size, length, shape, and depth of your pool. They take longer to complete than fiberglass pools but often hold their shape better.

Fiberglass Pools

Because they are manufactured off-site, fiberglass pools are often a more affordable option. While they offer some customization options in terms of size, shape, and finishes, they generally have more limitations compared to concrete pools. However, their streamlined installation process is faster compared to concrete pool installations.
